The Dictionary of Energy is single volume reference work on energy published in 2005 by Elsevier, Inc.  The Dictionary is edited by Cutler J. Cleveland of Boston University, USA, and Christopher Morris of Morris Books, Escondido, California, USA.  The Dictionary contains over 8,000 definitions spanning 40 scientific disciplines, more than 100 'window essays' written by experts and covering topics of particular scientific, historical or social significance, and over 150 photos and illustrations.
