Yeager, Ernest B.

Ernest B. Yeager was an American chemist internationally known for his pioneering contributions to the fundamental understanding of electrochemical reactions and to the development of fuel cell and battery technology. Much of his work was motivated by his belief that electrochemistry would play a major role in meeting the nation’s energy problems and in helping to conserve natural resources. He believed that electric cars would become more common in years to come and that high performance fuel cells and storage batteries would be needed to power these cars.
