Durnin, J. V. G. A.

J. V. G. A. Durnin, a Scottish nutritionist noted for his seminal work in the field of human nutrition and the energetics of human metabolism. With Reginald Passmore, he published Energy, Work and Leisure (1967), widely considered to be the authoritative source for data on the energy expenditure of a wide range of human activity.
